ATHLETIC IMPROVEMENTS

  • Installation of Artificial Turf

    • To be placed on baseball field, softball field and field inside the high school track

    • The last two seasons have seen more than 50% of the permitted UIL practice or game days cancelled or moved due to unplayable surfaces.

    • Turf has lower maintenance costs and allows for more revenue-generating opportunities.

TECHNOLOGY upgrades

  • Technology and infrastructure replacement

    • Replace student Chromebooks that have exceeded their lifespan to maintain compatibility with modern learning

    • Replace computers that can no longer run the latest operating system to ensure cybersecurity and protect against vulnerabilities

    • Replace classroom display boards and provide mobile teacher devices to allow greater flexibility in the classroom with enhanced learning opportunities for students

    • Replace network infrastructure with more modern switching equipment to provide greater network/internet bandwidth to provide better connectivity and provide better throughput as network loads increase as the district grows
